Description: Activated Carbon Regeneration Kiln is suitable for all-sliming cyanidation-zinc method in the process of gold, also can be used in other industries roasting or drying.
Structure: Regenerating activated carbon kiln is made of seven parts, such as rotary cylinder, heat preservation kiln body, spiral feeding device, head cover, rear cover, kiln body tilt regulator, electrical control cabinet. Rotary cylinder is a rotating heating device, rotated by the motor through chain drive and complete the whole process of drying, carbonization and activation once for all.Control cabinet through the regulating of cylinder motor rotating speed to make the activated carbon in the cylinder body heated evenly, and to determine the carbon retention time in the cylinder.
Working principle:The active carbon adsorbs the thermal decomposition type and hard to desorption type organic material, through the heating of activated carbon at high temperature, volatiles and carbonizes the organic material, then to complete the whole regeneration, the carbide and active carbon activated simultaneously. The regeneration process can be divided into three stages:
 1) Drying
 Heat the hydrous activated carbon to evaporate the adsorbed water and volatilize some low boiling point organic compounds.
 2) Carbonation
 Heat up the activated carbon continually, the different organic matter will volatilize, decompose, or carbonize.
 3) Activation
 After the high temperature carbonization of organic matter, there are some carbides residual left in the micropore of activated carbon, at the same time carbides active through the steam etc oxide gas to gasify the residuals, through which to clean the activated carbon’s micropore, and also generate some new micro hole, both work together to activate activated carbon.
 The reaction equation of carbides and oxide gas as follows:
            C+O2=CO2
         C+H2O=CO+H2
         C+CO2=2CO
 
Application: It can be applied to chemical industry, wastewater drying, mineral process and mining industry.
