Question: What is the suitable calcining temperature for gypsum?
The calcining temperature for gypsum ranges from 150 degrees to 300 degrees. According to products and raw materials, there are two major type calcining processes for gypsum. One is rotary drum calcining kiln and the other type is flash boiling furnace. In terms of shape, do grinding first and then do calcining process.
In terms of heating mode, gypsum can use both indirect heating and direct heating mode according to real situation. For some special product, customer must choose indirect heating calcining mode and heating source must be steam.
